MEET JENNIFER
JENNIFER SEKELA
Owner, OTR/L - Occupational Therapist
Jen is married and has 4 children. She received a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from Wayne State University. She has been practicing OT since 2002 with a focus in pediatrics and sensory integration since 2011. After beginning her career as an OT working in settings with adults and then switching her focus to hand therapy, Jen finally found her niche in pediatrics. For 6 years, she worked providing services in the public school, and decided to start Sensation Education so that she could better serve these kiddos overall needs in an environment that would better support therapy based on the Sensory Integration framework. In addition to treating infants and children privately at Sensation Education, she is also a part of Clermont County’s Early Intervention team, providing services to infants birth to three in their homes. She specializes in Sensory Integration Therapy, Therapeutic Listening, the Tummy Time Method, Cranial Sacral Therapy and has 100+ hours of training in the area of pediatric feeding, OMD and tethered oral tissues.
